With our Neuro-Affirming Practice Seminar, we can help you to create a more inclusive and accessible environment for neurodivergent customers!
You likely already have neurodivergent employees and customers who may feel excluded and unsupported. Stigma and lack of awareness can limit access for people with brain differences, causing them to avoid your business. With our Neuro-Affirming Practices Educational Program, we can teach you how to make your business more inclusive to someone with an invisible disability, through adaptations and understanding. Embracing neurodiversity in communities, healthcare settings, schools, and more can provide a better environment for all.
Have you heard of neurodiversity? It is the idea that we should embrace neurological differences and provide inclusion and equal opportunity for all individuals, regardless of their brain style. The International Neurodiversity Movement is empowering people to advocate for their own brain style and needs. Sharing lived experiences and providing community-sourced information is changing the way that businesses and medical professionals attract and care for a diverse client base.
We are here to offer training on how to make your business more neuro-affirming. Offering neuro-affirming training to your employees will provide a more inclusive experience for your patients/guests, ensuring you a more diverse clientele, which is the future of business and community. Once the session is complete, your business will receive our certificate making you a “Neurodivergent Safe Practice” and your business will have the opportunity to be added to our website as a preferred practitioner on our resource list.
How long is the presentation? Our sessions range from 1 hour to 2.5 hours, based on your organizations’ needs. With our standard presentation we offer an additional building consultation where our director will help you to transform your space to make it inclusive. We will be offering our courses to doctors, dentists, therapy offices, medical facilities, government organizations, hair salons, and more. Book your session today!
All of our educators are neurodivergent volunteers teaching from their own lived experiences. For pricing and additional information see our presentation menu below. Proceeds will contribute to further funding of our 501c3 nonprofit and community center. Please send an email to Leann@ndnet.org to schedule your seminar.
