Cancelled- Creekside Picnic & Play

Join us on Friday Afternoon for a family picnic by the water and then some creek play.  Pack your own dinner or pick something up along the way. Bring a blanket to sit on . You can eat whenever you want, there is no time line.
We will be meeting by the boat launch . There are picnic tables that we will sort of take over. The boat launch is directly next to this, it is easy to enter the water this way, but there may also be kayakers and dogs in this area.  This is a Dog friendly park so dogs may be present at this event or next to it at the park . The boat launch can be slippery . I suggest water shoes in the creek and bringing a towel, bug spray, and a change of clothing.  We will have some creek play items, chalk and bubbles as well!  This is a very relaxed low stress environment for Neurodiverse Families to spend time around one another. There is no restriction or itinerary.  It will mostly be families with children of all ages, but you may also come alone if you are a neurodiverse adult and would like to socialize.
