Virtual Diversity Speaks Webinar

The Pennsylvania Human Relations Comission will host a virtual Diversity Speaks webinar featuring Leann Firestone, Creator & Director of Neurodiverse Network.

Leann Firestone Is the Creator and Director of Neurodiverse Network. She is a neurodivergent adult female and a native to Pennsylvania. Her story is unique,  because she went most of her life without a diagnosis or understanding of her own brain style differences. At 30-years-old, she made the self-realization that she was also autistic and that the lack of diagnosis has contributed to most of the struggles and trauma in my life. Over the past 4 years Leann has grown a non-profit around her need for support and connection allowing her to thrive. Her and her husband are raising a 8 year old neurodivergent child while working full time jobs and creating this resource. Leann has also been training her own service dog for the past year, Suzie helps her with physical and psychological needs. As Neurodiverse Network Community Center opens in October 2024, she plans to hold a facilitating role to help forge a safe space in New Cumberland . She hopes that sharing her story, along with constant education and advocacy, will help our community as a whole and will create a more inclusive future for everyone!
